GENERAL TSO’S PORK KABOBS
Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs. (.680 kg) pork loin, cubed into bite-size pieces
½ cup General Tso’s Sauce
¼ cup orange juice
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 tsp. Sunset Seasoned Salt
1 Tbsp. Oh! So Garlic
1 orange and yellow bell pepper, cut into 1" pieces
8 slices of bacon, cut in thirds
Metal or wooden skewers (soaked in water 30 minutes)
Instructions
Place cubed pork in a large freezer bag. In small bowl, whisk together the next 5 ingredients; add salt and pepper as desired. Pour over pork; seal and toss to coat. Refrigerate 2 hours or up to overnight. Prepare grill to medium heat. Remove pork from marinade (reserve some marinade for basting). Thread pork on skewers, alternating with peppers and folded bacon. Place pork skewers on the grill for 8-10 minutes. Turn occasionally, until internal temperature reaches 155°F on an instant-read food thermometer,basting with marinade last 5 minutes.
Optional: Sliced baby potatoes are a nice addition to these skewers.
